About PollyPay

PollyPay exists to make putting something on the record as easy as sending an email, so that when something is questioned later, you can show what you had and when, and anyone can check it without trusting us.

What we believe

A public, cheap, fast ledger should be usable by anyone, not just people who already speak the language of wallets and seed phrases. An email or a fingerprint should be enough.

What goes on the ledger should stay exactly that. We cannot edit, hide or delete a line once it is written, and neither can anyone else. We can stop showing something on PollyPay when it impersonates someone or breaks the law, and we say so when we do, but the line itself stays.

How it works, in one paragraph

You drop a file. Your device works out its fingerprint, and the file never leaves it. You sign in with a passkey or an email link.

The fingerprint and the time land on the ledger in about a second, written and paid for by PollyPay, so you never touch a wallet. You get a certificate anyone can check, with nothing to install and nothing to hold.

From there you can keep a copy, hand the record to someone, ask them to countersign it, or show it on your page.

How we make money

Records and statements are free up to 20 an hour. Past that, a penny each, from a balance you top up in USDC, a digital dollar. Plans for teams and heavy use are coming. There is no subscription today, no advertising, and we do not sell data.

What we never do

We never see the file behind a record unless you ask us to keep a copy, and then we check it against the record rather than trust it. We never hold your money beyond that small prepaid balance. We never ask for a recovery phrase or a password.

Who we are

A small independent team in the United Kingdom, building this because a public ledger this cheap and this fast should be doing more than it is. We keep the company out of the way of the record.
